July 20, 2026 – Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially started retail sales of the all-new Land Cruiser FJ, expanding the iconic Land Cruiser lineup with a more compact SUV built for modern drivers. Known for its durability, reliability, and off-road capability, the Land Cruiser has long been a trusted companion for both everyday driving and adventure. The all-new Land Cruiser FJ carries that heritage into a more accessible and maneuverable package designed to balance capability with daily practicality.
Inspired by classic Land Cruiser models, the all-new Land Cruiser FJ features a bold, upright design with short overhangs, a wide stance, and generous ground clearance to enhance its off-road performance. Its compact size also makes it well-suited for city driving, while design elements such as the rear side-access cargo door, rear-mounted spare tire, and squared body panels highlight its rugged character and provide opportunities for personalization.
Proven Performance On and Off the Road
Inside, the Land Cruiser FJ features a functional, driver-focused cabin with durable materials, easy-to-use controls, and modern infotainment features designed for everyday driving and weekend adventures.
Both the TX and VX variants are powered by a 2.7-liter 2TR-FE naturally aspirated gasoline engine producing 166 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel-drive system, allowing drivers to switch between rear-wheel drive for daily use and four-wheel drive when additional traction is needed.
Built on a ladder-frame chassis, the Land Cruiser FJ is equipped with a double-wishbone front suspension and four-link rear suspension, providing the durability expected from the Land Cruiser name while maintaining ride comfort. Both variants also come standard with Active Traction Control (A-TRC) to improve stability across different road conditions.
The SUV measures 4,610 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and rides on a 2,580 mm wheelbase with 245 mm of ground clearance. The TX stands 1,890 mm tall, while the VX measures 1,950 mm in height.

Positioned as the most accessible model in the Land Cruiser family, the all-new Land Cruiser FJ is available in two variants: the 2.7L TX A/T and the 2.7L VX A/T, giving customers more choices to match their mobility needs and lifestyles.
The TX variant is designed for customers looking for a capable and straightforward 4×4. It comes equipped with 17-inch steel wheels, LED lighting, a 9-inch infotainment display, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, synthetic leather seats with manual adjustment, and physical controls, including a lever-type parking brake and a rotary selector for four-wheel-drive modes.
For those seeking added comfort and technology, the VX builds on the TX with 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, side steps, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather shift knob, and a Panoramic View Monitor. It also comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes a Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beam to provide additional driver assistance on and off the road.
