The excitement kicked off on September 4, ahead of the main public convention weekend, during a high-stakes charity auction featuring the PHHWCC 2026 Convention Car Serial #001. The room electrified as bidding escalated, culminating in a historic moment when a dedicated collector from Malaysia flew in specifically to secure the #001 Nissan Skyline with a record-breaking winning bid of ₱1.35 million (US$21,500).
Beyond setting a new milestone for the die-cast community, the auction carried a deep purpose, with all proceeds directly benefiting Aklatan sa Kostal, a public library project for children in Camarines Norte, showing how a shared passion can drive real-world change.
