September 30, 2026 – VinFast is highlighting the potential long-term savings of its all-electric MPV 7, with the brand’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Calculator projecting 22% lower ownership costs compared with a common internal-combustion engine (ICE) vehicle over three years.
The comparison factors in expenses such as fuel or energy, maintenance, and financing. Based on the calculator, a family driving around 1,000 kilometers per month could spend an estimated ₱1,502,167 to own an MPV 7 with the battery included over three years, compared with ₱1,915,148 for a common ICE vehicle.
That represents a projected difference of ₱412,981 over the three-year period.
The figures come from VinFast’s web-based TCO Calculator, which was launched in August to help customers estimate vehicle ownership costs beyond the initial purchase price.
More Than Just Energy Savings

VinFast also points to its ownership programs as factors behind the projected savings.
The brand offers a Battery Subscription option, allowing customers to purchase the vehicle without the battery and pay a separate monthly subscription. VinFast also highlights its free charging program through V-Green charging stations until March 2029 and its Residual Value Guarantee (RVG) program.
The MPV 7 comes with a 7-year vehicle warranty and 10-year battery warranty, according to VinFast.
Built Around Family Mobility
Beyond ownership costs, the MPV 7 is designed around the everyday needs of a seven-seater.
The EV offers an estimated range of up to 450 km under the NEDC cycle from its 60.13-kWh usable battery. DC fast charging can bring the battery from 10% to 70% in around 30 minutes.
Cargo space also varies depending on seating configuration:
- 126 liters with all seven seats in use
- 606 liters with the third row folded
- Up to 1,240 liters with the rear seats folded

For passenger comfort and convenience, the MPV 7 also comes with four airbags, electronic stability and traction control, four ADAS features, ISOFIX anchors, rear air vents for the second and third rows, and four USB ports.
