Pasay City, Philippines, October 22, 2026 – Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, officially unveiled the all-new Kia PV5 Cargo at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Designed for commercial logistics, the all-electric van brings together substantial cargo capacity, long-range performance, and award-winning design in a package built to support the needs of local businesses.

“Building on the promise we made to Filipinos early this year, this moment marks the next major step in Kia’s brand transformation in the Philippines,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “We are delivering a purpose-built electric vehicle engineered to be a true mobility partner, making your fleet cleaner, smarter, and more efficient.”

BUILT FOR BUSINESS: SPACE, PAYLOAD, AND FLEET VERSATILITY

Named the 2026 International Van of the Year, the Kia PV5 Cargo pairs a modern exterior with practical commercial capabilities. Its features include integrated LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED rear-combination taillights, and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel caps.

Built on Kia’s dedicated EV platform, the van measures 4,695 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, and 1,905 mm high. Its 2,995 mm wheelbase is designed to help it navigate urban streets and narrow loading docks.

Inside, the PV5 Cargo offers a 4,420-liter cargo bay that can carry up to 805 kg. The cargo area measures 2,255 mm long, 1,565 mm wide, and 1,520 mm high. Dual-swing rear doors and a low loading height help simplify loading and unloading, while eight heavy duty tie down hooks and universal L-track mounting points help keep cargo secure during transport.

ENGINEERED FOR OPERATIONS: PERFORMANCE, RANGE, AND MOBILE POWER

The Kia PV5 Cargo is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivering 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It draws energy from a 51.5 kWh NMC battery, offering a claimed driving range of up to 384 kilometers on the NEDC cycle—designed to support daily deliveries across Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

For charging, its CCS2 DC fast-charging port can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes when connected to a 350 kW charger. For overnight or office-based charging, the Type 2 AC port can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in around four hours and 45 minutes using an 11 kW wallbox.

Beyond transportation, the PV5 Cargo can also serve as a mobile power source. Its integrated Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology allows it to supply up to 3.6 kW of electrical power from its high-voltage battery, enabling businesses to power tools, lights, and equipment at remote work sites.

DRIVER SAFETY AND FLEET PROTECTION POWERED BY KIA DRIVEWISE

The PV5 Cargo comes with Kia DriveWise safety technologies designed to support drivers during daily commercial operations. These include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Lane Following Assist (LFA).

Driver Attention Warning and Auto Light Control add further support on the road. For maneuvering in tight spaces, Forward and Reverse Parking Distance Warning work alongside a Rear-View Monitor to help drivers navigate busy worksites.

Additional safety features include front, side, and curtain airbags, along with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Downhill Brake Control (BDC) to help maintain control in challenging driving conditions.

MOBILE OFFICE: CONNECTIVITY AND FLEET PRODUCTIVITY

The PV5 Cargo is designed to function as a mobile workspace, with durable interior materials suited to commercial use. Its digital setup includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen display and a 7.5-inch driver cluster.

Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow drivers to access navigation and other compatible apps through the main screen. Integrated 12V power outlets and two high-output USB-C ports also help keep devices charged throughout the workday.

ENTERPRISE SUPPORT: ACMOBILITY ECOSYSTEM, PRICING, AND AVAILABILITY

Each Kia PV5 purchase connects to ACMobility’s commercial ecosystem, which offers business-focused solutions such as ChargeFleet management, Greenstrum infrastructure support, Power-on-Wheels mobile support, and access to charging stations through the nationwide Evro app network.

“Bringing electric mobility to local businesses helps cut operating costs and makes daily operations more efficient,” said Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines. “The Kia PV5 gives fleet owners a practical, reliable way to switch to electric vehicles, backed by ACMobility’s nationwide charging network.”
