September 8, 2026 – Since its introduction in 2024, the Next Generation Toyota Tamaraw has continued to demonstrate what it means to be a versatile vehicle for businesses and individuals. Designed with a highly configurable platform, the Tamaraw can be customized to suit different needs from transporting passengers and cargo to supporting refrigerated logistics and even serving as a mobile business space.

This week, Toyota is highlighting that versatility across four events in Metro Manila and Cebu. From September 9 to 12, the Tamaraw will be at the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) at the World Trade Center, where different configurations will showcase how the vehicle can support businesses in the food and beverage industry.
From September 10 to 13, the Tamaraw will also be at PHILBEX Cebu at the IEC Convention Center Cebu, highlighting its potential as a workhorse for the building and construction industry. Guests will also have the opportunity to experience the Tamaraw firsthand through test drives during the event.
Meanwhile, the Tamaraw takes on a more creative role at the PURVEYR Fair from September 12 to 13, where a Tamaraw GL Dropside will be transformed into a DJ booth. On the same dates, another Tamaraw GL Dropside will be on display at the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH) Grandparents Day Pit Stop at Cash & Carry Makati, giving collectors another look at the vehicle’s potential for customization and creative expression.
Across these four events, the Tamaraw will take on different forms and functions—giving visitors a closer look at how one platform can adapt to different industries, businesses, interests, and lifestyles.
Different configurations for different business requirements
At AFEX, a trade show focused on food processing, packaging, handling machinery, equipment, and technology, Toyota will feature four Tamaraw configurations: the Utility Van, GL Dropside, Wing Van, and Refrigerator Van.
Each configuration highlights a different way the Tamaraw can support day-to-day business needs, from transporting goods and equipment to handling products that require temperature-controlled storage.
At PHILBEX Cebu, Toyota will showcase the Tamaraw GL Dropside, with test drives available for visitors who want to experience the vehicle themselves. As Cebu’s construction and design sectors continue to grow, the event provides an opportunity to demonstrate how the Tamaraw can serve businesses that need a practical and dependable workhorse.

Taking the Next Generation Tamaraw into more specialized applications
The Tamaraw takes on an entirely different character at PURVEYR Fair, where its adaptability moves beyond conventional passenger and cargo transport.
The two-day gathering of independent Filipino brands, creatives, and communities will feature two Tamaraw GL Dropside units converted into mobile setups: one as a DJ booth and another as a pop-up flower store. Both showcase how the vehicle’s open rear section can be transformed to fit very different creative and business concepts.
On September 12, the Tamaraw Dropside DJ booth will feature sets from Waff, Roy De Borja, Okami, Average Bri, Nix Damn P! and J Dope. On September 13, performances from Okami, ADMV, Michiko, Nix Damn P!, Butta B, and Yela Renee will close out the event.
A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be deployed at the fair in support of Waves For Water, showing how the vehicle can become more than a mobile business space—it can also help bring a brand’s advocacy closer to the community.
A Tamaraw for collectors and enthusiasts
At the DCPH Grandparents Day Pit Stop, eventgoers will also get the chance to see a Tamaraw GL Dropside on display at Cash & Carry Makati.
