Hybrid, electric, and fuel efficient models take center stage at this year’s show
Pasay City, June 4, 2026 — Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, highlights its commitment to sustainable mobility at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show 2026 (PIMS) at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. In line with this year’s theme, “Forward in Every Drive,” Kia presents a lineup of hybrid, electric, and fuel-efficient vehicles designed to meet the changing needs of Filipino motorists.
According to Jay Lopez, Kia continues to make future-ready mobility more accessible by offering a wide range of vehicles that fit modern lifestyles from turbo hybrids and fully electric vehicles to practical fuel-efficient crossovers.
Leading the Charge: Turbo Hybrids and Electric Vehicles
Headlining Kia’s displays are the Kia Carnival Turbo Hybrid and Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid, both designed to deliver efficiency, comfort, and versatility for families and everyday drivers.
Joining them are Kia’s latest electric vehicles, including the recently launched Kia EV5. The electric SUV offers up to 550 kilometers of driving range, regenerative braking, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, advanced driver assistance features, and a spacious cabin.
Also on display is the flagship Kia EV9, a full-size electric SUV known for its three-row seating, premium technology, and global award-winning design.
Completing the lineup is the Kia Sonet, one of the brand’s best-selling compact crossovers. Designed for first-time buyers and young professionals, the Sonet combines fuel efficiency, modern features, and everyday practicality in an affordable package.
A Glimpse at What’s Next
Kia also previewed the upcoming Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid ahead of its official launch in July. Visitors interested in the new model can sign up through Kia’s website or visit the booth during PIMS for early access updates.
The brand also confirmed the future arrival of the Kia EV3 compact electric SUV and the Kia PV5 electric van, further expanding Kia’s electrified lineup in the Philippines.
