Pasay City, Philippines — KIA Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, officially launched the Kia EV5 at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show 2026, marking a new step in the brand’s electrification efforts.

The EV5 enters the electrified compact SUV segment with a modern design, spacious cabin, and practical features aimed at customers transitioning to electric mobility. Built on a dedicated EV platform, the model combines everyday usability with an extended driving range.

Modern design and tech-focused cabin

The Kia EV5 features the brand’s “Opposites United” design language, highlighted by the Digital Tiger Nose grille, Star Map LED lighting, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV offers a dual 12.3-inch display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and flexible interior space.

The EV5 also includes Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing users to power devices both inside and outside the vehicle. Safety features include advanced driver assistance systems such as Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Avoidance, Blind Spot Monitor, and Surround View Monitor.

Electrified performance and range

The Kia EV5 delivers 217 PS and 310 Nm of torque and is available in two variants. The GL variant offers up to 400 km of range, while the GLS variant provides up to 550 km on a full charge.

Pricing starts at ₱2,298,000 for the EV5 GL and ₱2,698,000 for the EV5 GLS. The model comes with an 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty and a 5-year vehicle warranty.
