Honda highlights its transformation journey through electrification, innovation, and customer experience
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially opened its exhibit at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show 2026 (PIMS) at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, reaffirming its commitment to the Filipino market. Aligned with this year’s theme, “Forward in Every Drive,” Honda showcases its vision for a future shaped by innovation, electrification, and customer-focused mobility.
A New Brand Identity Inspired by Omotenashi
A key highlight of Honda’s participation at PIMS is the unveiling of its new brand logo in the Philippines. Inspired by two outstretched hands, the new emblem symbolizes Honda’s readiness to embrace the future of mobility while continuing to evolve alongside changing customer needs.
The refreshed identity also reflects Honda’s commitment to Omotenashi, the Japanese philosophy of wholehearted hospitality and service. Through this approach, Honda aims to enhance every customer touchpoint, from digital interactions and showroom visits to aftersales support and long-term ownership experiences.
Advancing Electrified Mobility
As part of its global goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Honda highlighted its advanced e:HEV full hybrid technology, designed to deliver fuel efficiency without compromising driving enjoyment.
Leading the lineup is the Honda Prelude, serving as Honda’s halo hybrid model and a glimpse into the brand’s electrified future. The coupe features the new Honda S+ Shift system, designed to enhance the driving experience by combining responsive performance with engaging sound and visual feedback.
Joining the Prelude are Honda’s established e:HEV models:
- Honda Civic RS e:HEV — combining sporty performance with hybrid efficiency
- Honda HR-V RS e:HEV — a stylish and practical SUV for modern lifestyles
- Honda CR-V RS e:HEV AWD — blending fuel-efficient daily driving with all-wheel-drive capability for weekend adventures
Expanding Beyond Four Wheels
Honda also previewed new electric two-wheeled mobility solutions through Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI).
Making its local debut is the Honda UC3, a fixed-battery electric personal commuter that embodies Honda’s electric motorcycle vision, “Expected Life. Unexpected Discoveries.” The model is scheduled to arrive in July 2026.
Also joining the lineup is the Honda WN7, an electric motorcycle built for efficient and responsive urban mobility, with sales expected to begin in September 2026.
Celebrating 30 Years of the Honda City
Honda is also marking the 30th anniversary of the Honda City with a special City S CVT 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition on display at PIMS.
The model features exclusive Berlina Black accessories, including front and rear under spoilers, side under spoilers, a trunk spoiler, and door visors. Customers can enjoy complimentary installation and painting, with savings of up to PHP 57,500.
Limited pre-orders for the special edition are available from June 4 to 7, 2026, both at PIMS and Honda dealerships nationwide, with deliveries expected to begin in July 2026.
Honda invites visitors to explore its display, participate in booth activities, and register for test drives throughout the duration of the show.
