In the Philippines, Tesla topped the country’s electric vehicle sales in June 2026, following its strong performance in May 2026. The milestone reflects the growing number of Filipinos choosing electric mobility while continuing to value innovation, performance, and convenience.
To meet increasing demand worldwide, Tesla is expanding production of its 4680 battery cells, supporting higher production of the Model Y, the world’s best-selling vehicle.
Following its launch in the United States in July 2026, the Model Y L received positive customer response. In the Philippines, the first customer deliveries took place less than a month after orders opened, highlighting Tesla’s quick delivery timelines and streamlined ownership experience.
Tesla Ownership Starts from as Low as ₱29,990 per Month
Tesla says owning one of its vehicles is now more accessible through flexible financing options. Customers can own a Model 3 starting at ₱29,990 per month, making it easier to experience the brand’s connected electric vehicle ecosystem.
For a limited time, Tesla Philippines is also offering several ownership incentives, including free Supercharging credits, one year of complimentary comprehensive insurance, limited-time purchase offers, and a complimentary home charger for eligible customers.
Beyond these promotions, owners benefit from Tesla’s connected ecosystem through the Tesla app, which allows them to manage their vehicle, monitor charging, and receive software updates remotely while accessing the company’s growing charging network across the Philippines.
Tesla owners also gain access to the Tesla Owners Club, which offers exclusive discounts and privileges from participating merchant partners. Meanwhile, the Tesla Referral Program rewards both existing owners and new customers.

During the first half of 2026, Tesla more than doubled its onsite computing capacity in Texas. The company’s Cortex 2 platform currently supports the development of autonomous driving software for both Tesla vehicles and humanoid robots, with further expansion planned throughout the year.
Tesla continues to roll out these advancements through Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates. In 2025 alone, the company introduced more than 300 new or updated features globally. The latest Summer 2026 software release adds new capabilities to the Grok AI Assistant, including:
- Make phone calls
- Search and play music
- Adjust climate control
Tesla has also expanded its automatic navigation feature beyond home and work destinations, allowing the system to recommend routes based on a driver’s personal routines and schedule for a more seamless ownership experience.
Supporting Charging Infrastructure
Tesla continues to grow its global charging network, adding more than 2,400 new Supercharger stalls worldwide, representing a 17% year-over-year increase.
In the Philippines, Tesla currently operates four Supercharger stalls, with additional locations planned as the local EV community continues to grow.
The company has also expanded its Destination Charging network, including newly opened sites in Bonifacio Global City and Southwoods Mall in Laguna, providing owners with more convenient charging options across key urban and travel destinations.
Looking Ahead
By continuing to expand vehicle production, charging infrastructure, and real-world AI technologies delivered through Over-The-Air updates, Tesla remains focused on creating long-term value for customers while making electric mobility more connected, convenient, and accessible.
