(HMPH) has officially partnered with the ASEAN National Organizing Council (NOC) in support of the country’s hosting of the 2026 ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, reaffirming its commitment to advancing mobility solutions for national initiatives.
The partnership was formalized through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement, under which Hyundai Motor Philippines will provide 50 Hyundai SANTA FE SUVs to serve as the official protocol vehicles for operational personnel throughout the summit.
Scheduled to take place this November at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), the 2026 ASEAN Summit will welcome delegates and leaders from across the region and beyond to discuss key issues surrounding regional cooperation, economic growth, security, and sustainable development.
The fleet of Hyundai SANTA FE units is expected to play a vital role in ensuring safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for personnel supporting the event. More than providing mobility, the partnership reflects Hyundai’s continued commitment to contributing to initiatives that help drive national progress while supporting international collaboration.
“We are committed to supporting ASEAN’s vision of connectivity, sustainability, and innovation by providing safer, smarter, and more sustainable mobility,” said Dong Jo Kim, Senior Vice President of Hyundai Motor Group’s Global Policy Office, in his special message. “We hope that this official vehicle support will serve as a meaningful step toward a successful future for the Philippines and ASEAN.”
