Country joins Australia and South Africa among the Ranger Raptor’s strongest global markets

MANILA, Philippines, July 6, 2026 — The Philippines has emerged as one of the top three export markets for the Ford Ranger Raptor, joining Australia and South Africa as one of the strongest markets for Ford’s high-performance pickup truck.

Since its global debut in 2018, the Ranger Raptor has achieved cumulative production of more than 215,000 units. Originally introduced as a specialized performance pickup, the model quickly gained worldwide recognition for its off-road capability, advanced engineering, and motorsport-inspired performance.

Designed and engineered by Ford’s product development team in Australia, the Ranger Raptor first entered production at the Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM) plant in Rayong, Thailand. Today, the facility serves as Ford’s primary production and export hub, supplying the Ranger Raptor to 106 countries around the world.

The vehicle’s strong global demand has driven its continued expansion, including its entry into the North American market in 2023 with production at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant in the United States.

According to Pedro Simoes, the Ranger Raptor’s continued success in the Philippines reflects the growing appreciation of Filipino customers for high-performance pickups built with world-class engineering and off-road capability. He added that the Ranger Raptor has evolved beyond being just a pickup truck, becoming a lifestyle vehicle and a symbol embraced by a growing community of owners across the country.

In the Philippines, the Ranger Raptor lineup is led by the 3.0-liter V6 variant developed by Ford Performance. Built for demanding off-road conditions, it features a twin-turbo EcoBoost engine paired with a performance-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission, enhanced suspension, and FOX Live Valve shock absorbers, delivering the capability and performance expected from the iconic Raptor nameplate.
