If you’ve been eyeing the stallion but the price tag kept you in the stable, Ford Philippines just lowered the barrier to entry. The Blue Oval has officially expanded its EV lineup with a limited-edition Mustang Mach-E Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant.

While the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model has been holding the fort since last year, this new RWD version focuses on a different set of priorities: efficiency and range.

A More Accessible Mach-E

The standard retail price for the Mach-E RWD sits at ₱3,199,000, but Ford is introducing the model with a ₱500,000 cash discount, bringing the starting price down to ₱2,599,000.

Customers who choose the bold Grabber Yellow color can also receive an additional ₱100,000 discount, making the limited-edition variant an even more attractive option for early adopters. 

Range is the Hero

While the AWD variant prioritizes maximum traction and acceleration, the RWD version focuses on efficiency and extended driving range. By sticking to a single permanent magnet motor on the rear axle, Ford has optimized energy consumption.

Power Output: 276 PS and 525 Nm of torque
Estimated Range: up to 615 km on a single charge

For context, that’s enough range to comfortably handle long provincial drives, making the Mach-E RWD a more practical daily EV for Philippine conditions.

Familiar Tech, Classic Drive

Despite the lower price point, you aren’t getting a “stripped-down” experience. You still get:

• One-Pedal Drive: Perfect for the stop-and-go traffic situations
• Selectable Drive Modes: Whisper, Engage, and Unbridle.

• Storage: You still get the 80-liter “frunk” (front trunk), perfect for wet gear or groceries, plus 402 liters of space in the back.

• Real-Time Charging Stats: Check your battery percentage and estimated range without leaving the house.
• Smart Charging: Set a “Target Charge” (like stopping at 80% to prolong battery life) and monitor your charge history.
• Remote Access: Lock or unlock your doors from anywhere—perfect for when you can’t remember if you secured the car at the mall.
