Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has officially launched the new STARIA Hybrid at Alabang Town Center, expanding the brand’s electrified lineup with a more efficient version of its futuristic people mover.
Starting at ₱1,999,000, the STARIA Hybrid aims to bring hybrid technology to Filipino families and professionals looking for a balance of fuel efficiency, space, and everyday practicality.
The launch gave guests a closer look at the STARIA Hybrid’s updated design, new connected features, and electrified powertrain, further strengthening Hyundai’s growing hybrid vehicle portfolio in the country.

A Familiar Look with a Smarter Powertrain
Under the hood, the new STARIA Hybrid is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline hybrid engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid setup produces a combined output of 245 PS and 265 Nm of torque, while delivering a fuel efficiency rating of 17.7 km/L.
Hyundai has also equipped the STARIA Hybrid with exclusive hybrid technologies such as e-Handling and e-Ride. These systems are designed to improve vehicle stability during cornering and enhance overall ride comfort during acceleration and uneven road conditions.
On the outside, the STARIA Hybrid retains its futuristic one-box design while adding updates such as new 18-inch alloy wheels, a redesigned front grille, and cube projection LED headlamps for selected variants.
Hyundai Bluelink Makes Its Philippine Debut
The STARIA Hybrid is the first Hyundai model in the Philippines to feature Bluelink, the brand’s connected car service platform.
With Bluelink, owners can access vehicle status information, diagnostics, and health reports while also controlling selected vehicle functions remotely.
The system allows users to adjust climate settings, lock and unlock doors, activate lights, and sound the horn even before entering the vehicle.
Hyundai Live Services also provides real-time traffic and weather information through the infotainment system, while online voice recognition allows drivers to stay connected while keeping their focus on the road.
A More Comfortable Space for Every Journey
Inside, the new STARIA Hybrid focuses on improving comfort and convenience for both drivers and passengers.
The cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment display, USB Type-C charging ports, wireless charging, and an available 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
Higher variants add features such as power-adjustable seats with lumbar support, heating and ventilation functions, and a dual power tilt sunroof.
The STARIA Hybrid also improves versatility with multiple seating configurations. The nine-seater variant now adopts a three-row layout, while the seven-seater variant features extended seat rails to provide greater flexibility between passenger space and cargo capacity.
Equipped with Hyundai SmartSense
The new STARIA Hybrid comes equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, the brand’s suite of advanced safety and driver assistance technologies.
Features include Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Side Parking Distance Warning, helping drivers navigate with better awareness in different driving situations.
Supporting these systems are six airbags positioned throughout the cabin for added protection.
