The BYD eMax7: A 7-Seater Electric MPV
Making its Philippine public debut at MIAS 2025, the BYD eMax7 is a full-sized 7-seater all-electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that’s heavy on tech, big on comfort, and smart on space.
At full charge, it can travel up to 530 kilometers — enough to get you to Ilocos Norte, Sagada, or even Bicol without needing to plug in along the way.
Inside, it has wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment screen.
It is equipped with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 360-degree camera, a rear parking camera, and a DiPilot system of advanced driver assistance features for safety and comfort.
PRICING:
The Standard variant starts at Php 1,498,000, while the Superior Captain variant starts at Php 1,748,000
Available in four distinct colors: Crystal White, Quartz Blue, Cosmos Black, and Harbour Grey.

The GAC M8 PHEV: Plug-in Power and Premium Comfort
If you’re shopping within this category, the captain seats and built-in massage mode are enough to convince you to get one. But now that the M8 is built with an electric motor, this PHEV version is even harder to ignore.
A full tank and one full charge can give you around 1,000km of driving range, with the electric-only range giving you around 106km.
This is the perfect vehicle for daily commutes to meetings or events outside the metro without the need for frequent charging.
Inside you’ll get the usual leather seats – now in brown/tan color—the panoramic sunroof, and the second-row captain seats with massage features.

PRICING:
No official pricing has been released yet, but we’re estimating it will be around Php 4M++ since the standard gasoline-powered M8 is already at 2.9M – 3.9M depending on the variant.
No available colors have been released yet, but assuming it will follow the standard gasoline-powered M8, it will possibly have three available colors: Crystal White, Elegant Black, and Temple Gold
Hyundai Elantra N: A Performance Icon, Now with a Hybrid to Match
For the first time ever, Hyundai is bringing the Elantra N-Line to the Philippines — which means more fun for the everyday driver who wants a little racecar energy, even on roads like EDSA. You get the feel, of course, minus the speed (because, well, traffic). But you get what I mean.
What’s more interesting was the Hybrid counterpart that was also unveiled during MIAS 2025, which is great for someone looking for a reliable daily sedan that has a solid range.
Inside you get two screens: one in front of the driver, which gives you all the driving information, and one on the center console for entertainment. It has the usual wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Leather seats are available depending on the variant.
For safety, it is equipped with Smart Cruise Control, which automatically adjusts your car speed depending on the vehicle in front. Auto emergency brake, a lane-keeping assist, and a blind spot warning and rear traffic alert.
PRICING:
The Elantra Standard variant starts at Php 1,065,000
The Elantra Hybrid variant starts at Php 1,480,000
The Elantra N-Line variant starts at Php 1,795,000
