Some events are scheduled.
Others leave tire marks on memory.
Nissan Festival Philippines transformed Clark International Speedway into a day that went beyond racing and displays. For one full day, it became a living snapshot of Nissan’s heritage, performance DNA, and the community that continues to fuel the brand’s journey in the Philippines.
From engines roaring on track to quiet, meaningful conversations off it, the festival was a celebration rooted in gratitude, passion, and shared stories.

A Festival Fueled by Gratitude and Community
During the media roundtable, Nissan Philippines President Masao Tsutsumi set the tone for the day by expressing heartfelt appreciation for Filipinos who have continuously supported and embraced the Nissan brand through the years.
He shared that the festival was born from Nissan’s own passion and excitement to create an event that gives back to the people who believe in the brand, emphasizing that Nissan sees its customers not as transactions, but as lifelong partners.
“Selling cars is not a one-time show,” Tsutsumi said. “It’s a lifelong relationship.”
That philosophy echoed throughout the event, from the recognition of car clubs to the openness of Nissan leadership in engaging with fans, media, and communities.
Tsutsumi also hinted at what lies ahead, revealing that Nissan will participate in only one major trade show this year, and it’s where all of the brand’s new launches will debut. Toward the end of the discussion, he finally let it slip: that one trade show will be this year’s Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), giving enthusiasts a clear date to mark on their calendars.

Stories Behind the Icons
One of the most anticipated moments of the festival was the presence of Hiroshi Tamura, widely known as the “Father of the GT-R.” More than engineering specs or performance figures, Tamura spoke about dreams — the kind that shape cars and the people who fall in love with them.
His guiding philosophy,
“What I dream, what I make you dream,”
captured the spirit of Nissan’s approach to performance and design, reminding everyone that great cars begin with imagination long before they hit the road.
Joining him were familiar faces who represent different sides of car culture and creativity, including Nissan ambassador Matteo Guidicelli, BanaweBoy, Quiccs Maiquez, and executives from Motul, all contributing to conversations that bridged motorsport, art, and enthusiast culture.

What Unfolded at Clark International Speedway
The festival delivered a full sensory experience across the speedway, with something unfolding at every corner.
On the main stage, Nissan executives shared messages of appreciation, while Nissan car clubs were recognized for their role in keeping the brand’s culture alive. The stage also became a visual highlight, with the Quiccs x Nissan NISMO Z project commanding attention throughout the day — an eye-catching blend of motorsport performance and creative expression that drew crowds the moment it was unveiled.

Adding to the excitement, Nissan’s collaboration with BanaweBoy took center stage as he officially revealed his Nissan Z build during the festival itself. Sharing how the project represents a dream coming full circle, BanaweBoy spoke about perseverance, hoping his journey would inspire fans to never give up on their own dreams and to keep pushing forward through hard work.

On track, heritage vehicles and car club members took part in parade laps, followed by a crowd-favorite drift exhibition that filled the air with tire smoke, speed, and cheers from the grandstands.
Around the venue, guests explored heritage car displays, official merchandise, after-sales offerings, partner booths, and vehicle selling areas — creating an environment where fans could admire the past, engage with the present, and glimpse what lies ahead.
Meanwhile, long lines formed for the meet-and-greet and signing session with Hiroshi Tamura, a clear reflection of how deeply the GT-R icon and his stories resonated with Filipino enthusiasts.
Built on Passion, Driven by Community
At its core, Nissan Festival Philippines was about connection.
It acknowledged the community that has grown alongside the brand and reinforced Nissan’s commitment to nurturing car culture in the country. Tsutsumi also shared Nissan Philippines’ openness to creating more events like this in the future, including deeper collaborations with car communities, to further strengthen and celebrate Nissan culture locally.

As the engines cooled and the crowds slowly thinned, what remained was a shared feeling, a thank-you letter written in rubber, steel, and stories.
Nissan Festival Philippines didn’t just look back at where the brand has been.
It reminded everyone why they fell in love with driving in the first place, and left fans eager to see what’s next for Nissan and the car community.
