Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI) has inaugurated its second Honda–TESDA training room, further strengthening its partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). The newly opened Honda–TESDA RTC CALABARZON TechDrive Hub was officially launched on March 25, 2026, at the TESDA Regional Training Center – CALABARZON in Batangas City.
The initiative builds on the partnership program first introduced in 2024, reinforcing Honda’s commitment to supporting technical education and skills development among Filipino learners.
To help enhance hands-on learning opportunities, HFI donated four motorcycle training units and two hybrid vehicles, along with specialized tools designed for maintenance, diagnostics, and repair training.
Beyond providing equipment, the program also aims to create opportunities for students pursuing technical careers. Top-performing learners from partner schools may qualify for on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities at Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) and Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI). Graduates of the program may also be endorsed for potential employment within Honda’s nationwide dealer network.
Through initiatives such as the TechDrive Hub, HFI continues to work closely with academic institutions and industry partners to help equip students with practical skills relevant to today’s mobility sector.
