Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has announced the appointment of Hidekazu Arai as its new President, effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Rie Miyake, who will assume a new role at Honda Motor Co., Ltd.

Arai brings nearly two decades of global leadership experience within Honda. Prior to his appointment, he served as Chief Administrator of the Business Planning Department at Honda’s global headquarters in Japan.
His career also includes key roles at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and Honda’s Saitama Factory, where he gained experience across business planning, finance, and operations.
