From September 27 to 29, 2024, Parklinks, Pasig, transformed into the ultimate off-road playground when the much-anticipated 4×4 Expo Philippines returned, bigger and better than ever.
The three-day event was sponsored by major car makers such as Toyota, Nissan, and Ford, as well as various aftermarket gear businesses. Hundreds of off-road enthusiasts and adventure seekers looked forward to viewing the latest 4×4 technology, gear, and vehicles.
From thrilling off-road challenges to gear demos, the expo offered a variety of activities that let visitors not only view the newest equipment but also give it a real-time test. Visitors were able to see the advancement of 4×4 technology firsthand thanks to over 15 car companies and numerous gear exhibitors.
Justin Uy’s Take on the Expo’s Growth
Justin Uy, the head organizer of 4×4 Expo Philippines, shared his excitement about how the event has expanded compared to last year.
“Last year, we only had 2 days for the 4×4 expo. This year we’re doing 3 days. We had 11 vehicle brands last year; this year we have 15. Our event is really the platform to test out the latest in 4×4 gear, technology, equipment, and, of course, your own vehicle.”
When asked about the growth of the 4×4 community in the Philippines, Uy expressed his pride in how the community has united around the expo
“It’s nice to see the 4×4 communities all coming together. We have multiple brands selling almost identical products, but coming together. And that’s the key that we want to do in this expo—it’s really to get all the car clubs, car brands, and overlanding brands all coming together.”

What to Look Out For
The organizers of the 2024 4×4 Expo are already anticipating even more exciting things for the following year as it draws to a close. A bigger stage is intended for 2025 as the organizers display their love and gratitude to the off-road community.
More off-road challenge courses, more equipment demonstrations, and more opportunities to test drive cars in off-road situations are all the things future attendees can expect.
